At The Old Grainstore on Bridge Street in Westport we are very conscious of the long history of this fabulous building and have been inspired by its past in how we have restored this unique property.

Historically the building was a pub, general merchants and a grainstore which dates back to the late 1800’s

The Old Grainstore is now a vibrant pub with an extensive selection of drinks to choose from. The bar stocks over 80 premium whiskey’s and gin’s, local craft beer and a large selection of wines from around the world. We show all major sporting events on our 3 large screens.

We cater for all kinds of parties, a finger food menu is available on request.

When you step into The Old Grainstore, you will see
a place Teeming With History.

For instance the rail tracks which you can see in the ground of the smoking area tell you about another era. Big bags of grain, animal feed, flour and fertiliser would be pushed on a trolley along a mini-railway line from the store to the end of the yard. The tracks stopped being used decades ago but they were never pulled up. They are a charming feature and we are very proud of them.
